Autonomous EEG Processing

Problem Definition

Non-invasive EEG measurements are very easy to obtain. Dry technologies are getting cheaper and it is very common today to see multiple products on the market for people to control a toy, analyze their own emotion or even train their own brain using neurofeedback. However, signals from the human scalp can be contaminated with interference from many other type of signals.

Research Objectives

  • Designing autonomous EEG signal cleaning algorithms
  • Designing autonomous feature extraction methods from EEG data
  • Investigating closed loop systems using EEG data
